DRESS STANDARDS
NO JAGGY PANTS
No sagging, dragging pants or oversized pants (below the waist or scraping the ground). No split seams. No cut-offs below the knees. No loose white T-shirts when~wearing them in combination with baggy pants. No jeans
NO GANG SYMBOLS
No gang related symbols on clothing (No RED, BLUE OR BROWN), including belt buckles or accessories. No extra long belt buckles or accessories. No hanging suspenders. No visible gang related tattoos.
NO HATS
Baseball caps or gang related headgear such as hairnets, bandannas, especially red or blue.
NO DESIGNATED SPORTS TEAM JACKETS
No designated sports team clothes, generally black and white, such as Kings and Raiders or any other current gang affiliated clothing.
NO CLOTHES THAT PROMOTE DRUGS OR VIOLENCE
No T-shirts, hats, caps, clothes or accessories that promote drugs, violence, profanity or sex.
Additionally, preparation for the workplace includes dressing as you would for a job. The following apparel is not appropriate for the workplace or school:
NO Short (higher than mid-thigh) skirts, dresses, or shorts
Extremely low cut tops/pants
See-through blouses
Apparel that does not cover the midriff
NO Flip flops, house shoes, or open-toe shoes.
Any violations of the school dress code will be addressed by teachers or referred to the
principal for discipline.
